With #CETA, the Netherlands is now able to export 98% of its products duty-free to Canada, which should benefit major sectors such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, machinery and electrical equipment, oil products, motor vehicles, textiles and agri-food products.
- With a tariff reduction of 5-10%, the Netherlands has exported 1570% more tractors to Canada since provisional application of #CETA over two year ago!
- According to @AgroBericht, most greenhouses in Canada are built by Dutch companies, and/or use Dutch technology, irrigation systems, lighting, floors, and consultancy companies. Great news, since the greenhouse area in Canada is growing and delegations visit @GreenTechRAI in Amsterdam.
